See Boston Whaler at the Newport Boat Show

The fall boat show season is upon us, and with it is one of the biggest, most exciting shows of the year, the Newport International Boat Show in Newport, Rhode Island.

This year’s show takes place September 15-18. It’s the largest boat show in New England, and visitors come from around the globe to see the latest boats and products from hundreds of manufacturers and dealers. The show is held on 13 acres of historic and beautiful Newport Harbor, allowing visitors to enjoy all that Newport has to offer while also checking out some of the best new powerboats and sailboats in the world.

Boston Whaler will, of course, be at this year’s show with a wide selection of exceptional Whalers. We’ll feature the center console Outrage family of boats, including the 250, 280, 330, 370 and 420. We’ll also have the 230 and 270 dual console Vantages, as well as the 315 and 345 Conquest.

Anyone getting on-the-water boat instruction with Confident Captain at the Newport Boat Show will also get a chance to try out additional Whaler models. Boston Whaler is the official boat for Confident Captain’s “At The Helm” program at this year’s show. The program provides training for boaters of all experience levels. Whaler models being used in this year’s program include the Super Sport 170, Dauntless 180 and 240, Vantage 230 and the Outrage 230 and 330.

Besides the program and wide selection of boats on display, there will be plenty for boaters to see and do at the show. Attendees can take a wide variety of courses, workshops and seminars to learn boating skills. They can check out the latest boating products and gadgets. Guests can tour Rhode Island’s 200-foot tall ship, the Oliver Hazard Perry. And visitors on September 15 can cast a vote for the best new sailboat or powerboat making its U.S. debut in the Newport For New Products People’s Choice Award. One voter will be selected at random to win a $250 American Express Gift Card.
